A MORNING STROLL AROUND THE FARM!

It is such a lovely morning here, the heat seems to have broke for now and it is a beautiful breezy morning. I thought I would take a walk around the farm and show you what it looks like today.

I snuggle up here in the mornings with my cup of tea and watch the sun coming through the trees. Birds and squirrels are scurrying everywhere, mostly to get away from Rufus and Daisy.

This is the Heirloom Garden from the view of the screened-in room.

I love the views from this room. I sometimes feel like I am in a different place, tucked away from the rest of the world.

Just around the corner I have a nest of sweet baby robins. The mommy is so brave, she sits there even with the dogs running under her.

The gardens still look lovely despite the lack of rain.

I should really sit on my front porch it is so pretty. Rufus decided to join us, I wonder what he has been up to?

I think I know what he has been doing. I wonder where his partner in crime is.

There she is! Daisy came to rescue Rufus and off they went to get into who knows what.

I have a lot of lovely bunnies in my garden ( the kind that don't eat anything) , this time of the summer they almost disappear under the Hostas.

Thanks for joining me on my morning stroll. Hope you all have a lovely day.

MY TOMATOES ARE GROWING!!!!!!!!

I have not given you an update lately on my Heritage Veggie Garden. I have been a little busy but here it is.

The green beans are huge. We will be eating some this weekend.

And just look at those Tomato plants. They are so big I had to re-stake them. I am so proud of them. I never would have guessed I could grow them from seed.

I have lots of little green tomatoes growing and you can start to see the wierd heritage shapes on some of them. I cannot wait to taste one.

The peas are coming along. Lots of leaves and flowers but I have not seen the peas just yet. I will have to come up with a better way to let them climb, I found that just staking and using wire was not strong enough.

I will have a lot of carrots. I am going to divide some later today so they have some room to grow.

All of the potted veggies are doing quite nicely too. The snow peas and peas are blooming and the lettuce and beets look very nice too. I am about another three weeks away from ripe tomatoes I think, but as soon as one is ready you will be the first to know.

HELLO..I'M BACK WITH POTTING & YUMMMMS!

Hi everyone, I'm back. I have not posted for a bit. If you visit my blog WICKED FAERIE QUEEN you see I have been having some personal things going on but, that is over and I am back. Now let's have a look at some fab potting tables.

I like to have a potting table, it is nice to have everything piled in one place up off of the ground. It is also much easier to pot up your plants. You can put one together out of scrap wood and they look great.

A nice old table is fabulous although I don't like to leave them out in the open so perhaps on a back porch. Unless it is a really old rickety one you don't care about.

You can buy some pretty nice already made ones too.

I just love this, it would make a great potting table......and now for the Yummmm!

I found the following delicious recipes at BAKERS ROYALE. These Biscoff & Kalhua Crunch Cupcakes look so decadant.

Look at this REESES BROWNIE ICE CREAM CAKE I would rather have that than a Birthday Cake any day.

I don't know why but I have a thing for cakes and cookies with stripes in them. I am going to make this amazingly delicious looking ZEBRA BUNDT CAKE just to see what it looks like.

Well, I am back and I will be showing you some pictures of my Heirloom Garden this week. It is busting out all over. Hope you are all having a lovely summer!
